Lips

Shape and hydration, not volume for its own sake.

What's going on

Lips thin with age and sun, and the border softens. Most people who ask about lips do not want bigger lips — they want their own lips back, or a balance that was never quite there.

Lip work is the most overdone work in aesthetics, which is precisely why we do it conservatively: shape, border and hydration first, volume last and least.

Why it happens

  • Age-related thinning
  • Sun exposure
  • Natural asymmetry or proportion
  • Previous overfilled work elsewhere

What can realistically be done

Dermal filler, conservatively

Shape and border definition before volume — half-measures are the point.

Dissolving and correction

We regularly correct overfilled or migrated filler from elsewhere, then rebuild slowly if wanted.

Skin care around the mouth

Sun protection and skin quality work preserve the result.

What can't

We will not build lips that do not suit your face, and we will say no to sizes that will not age well. If you want obvious lips, we are the wrong practice.

What a first visit involves

Thirty to forty-five minutes with a doctor or nurse: your history, an assessment, and an honest plan with costs in writing. No treatment at a first visit. What to expect
