What we collect
When you submit an enquiry or consultation request through this website, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, contact details, the type of consultation or practitioner you're interested in, and your message. If you join our Priority Access List, we collect your name, mobile number, email address and your marketing preferences. We store no health data beyond what you choose to tell us in a message. If you become a patient, health information is collected and held in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we use it
Enquiry details are used to respond to you and, where you proceed, to arrange care. Priority Access List details are used to send you opening updates, news and invitations by email and SMS and, if you've asked, to offer you an opening appointment. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any message or emailing info@lumiereaesthetics.com.au. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we share it only as described in this policy.
Storage and security
Website enquiries and registrations are stored securely on our hosting provider's systems and access is limited to practice staff who need it to respond. Health records, once you are a patient, are held within the practice's clinical systems under medical-record obligations.
Cookies and analytics
This website shows a consent banner before any non-essential scripts run. If you choose 'Essential only', no analytics or advertising scripts load and no tracking cookies are set. If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (with IP addresses anonymised) and the Meta Pixel — Facebook and Instagram — to measure our advertising. These services set cookies on your device and receive information about the pages you visit on this site.
Advertising measurement (Meta)
If you have accepted cookies and then request a consultation or join our Priority Access List, we also notify Meta that a request was made, using its Conversions API. Before sending, your email address, phone number and name are converted into a one-way hashed code so Meta does not receive them in readable form. The notification also includes the page you submitted from, the type of consultation requested, your IP address, your browser details and Meta's cookie identifiers, so the request can be matched to an advertisement. Your message and any health information you share with us are never sent to Meta.
Online bookings (Phorest)
Online bookings are made through Phorest, embedded on our Book page. When you book, your name, contact details, appointment details and any deposit or payment information are collected and processed by Phorest Software Ltd under Phorest's own privacy policy and terms. We receive your booking details in order to provide your care.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers — including website hosting, email delivery, online booking (Phorest) and advertising measurement (Meta Platforms, Google) — store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Your rights and choices
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time by contacting the practice at info@lumiereaesthetics.com.au. To withdraw cookie consent, clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser — the consent banner will appear again on your next visit. Complaints about privacy handling may be made to the practice first, and to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if unresolved.
