Preparing for a wedding

Skin for the day — counted backwards from the date.

What's going on

Great skin on a wedding day is a calendar exercise, not a miracle. Six months allows transformation; three months, refinement; six weeks, a meaningful difference. Every plan here works backwards from the date.

The one inviolable rule: nothing new in the final fortnight. Treatments are sequenced so everything peaks when you walk in — and because we are a medical practice, a last-minute flare is a solvable problem, not a catastrophe.

Why it happens

  • The date is fixed — the plan must fit it
  • Photography is unforgiving and forever
  • Stress shows on skin in the final months
  • Everyone in the party has different skin

What can realistically be done

A backwards-planned programme

Facials, peels, needling or laser sequenced to peak on the day.

Event-ready facials

The final week is a gentle luminosity treatment, then hands off.

The whole party

Grooms, mothers and attendants — same standard, same calendar discipline.

What can't

No new treatment close to the day — ever. We will talk you out of it kindly but firmly. And no package pricing: you pay for what your skin actually needs.

What a first visit involves

Thirty to forty-five minutes with a doctor or nurse: your history, an assessment, and an honest plan with costs in writing. No treatment at a first visit. What to expect
