The order
Diagnosis before treatment
Whatever the pattern, the order here is the same. Nothing permanent is planned until the cause is known and the loss is stable.
Diagnose
History, examination, dermatoscopy and blood tests where indicated — because thyroid, iron and scalp conditions all thin hair, and none of them is treated with a transplant.
Stabilise
Where loss is active, medical treatment first. Many patients — particularly those who come early — never need more.
Restore, where it's right
PRP and PRF to support living follicles; transplantation for stable loss with good donor hair, planned and performed by Dr Truong.
Candidacy
Honest about candidacy
We decline a proportion of the people who ask us about transplantation — because their loss is still progressing, because the donor supply won't support the goal, or because medical treatment is the better answer first. That conversation is the assessment.
