What it is
This is the regenerative side of the practice — treatments that work with your own tissue rather than against it. PDO threads are fine, dissolvable sutures placed beneath the skin: they lift immediately, then stimulate collagen along their length as they dissolve over months. PRP and PRF concentrate the growth factors in your own blood and return them to skin or scalp. Rejuran uses polynucleotides — fragments that support the skin's own repair — to improve elasticity, texture and fine scarring.

Recovery and aftercare
- Threads: swelling, tightness and possible bruising for two to seven days
- PRP, PRF and Rejuran: small raised bumps or bruising at injection points settle over days
- Avoid strenuous exercise and facial massage for a week after threads
- Scalp PRP: wash your hair the next morning, not the same day
Risks and what to expect
- Threads can cause asymmetry — one side sitting slightly differently to the other — which usually settles or can be adjusted
- Dimpling or puckering of the skin where a thread sits, and rarely a thread that can be felt or seen beneath the skin — both are reasons to come straight back and have it corrected
- Bruising, swelling and tenderness with any injectable treatment
- Infection is uncommon but possible with anything that breaks the skin — we treat in a medical setting for exactly this reason

How long results last
A thread lift typically holds twelve to eighteen months as the threads dissolve and collagen takes over. PRP, PRF and Rejuran build gradually across a course — usually three sessions, four to six weeks apart — then maintain with a session or two a year.
